help!

my friend has a puppy that is four weeks old and we dont know how much to give the puppy and how often. My friend didn't even know the owners of the mother dog ---. the mother got ran over and died> so if anyone could tell us what to do we would really appreciate your help! thanks

Call your local vet and bring the pup in...it all depends on size,breeding,etc.

Leann, I agree with delidog, call the vet immediately and bring it there as soon as possible, keep it warm, and don't wait too long! Get this puppy to the vet ASAP! Bless your heart for saving it! RIP mommy dog! Prayers and blessings are being sent your way! keep us all posted!

I agree, a vet trip is in order. Good luck, poor pup! Aly is a member here who has worked with a lot of "too young to be away from Mama" pups, try PMing her as well.
