At the moment my house is full of fosters and my own dogs. The local Pit Bull rescue in Houston has a 6 month waiting list for dogs to get into the shelter. All other local shelters euthanize Pits no matter the temperament. My boyfriend's co-worker found this young tan female Pit in his neighborhood hanging around his house. He said she just had or just weaned a litter of pups, but who knows where they are. She's very sweet and friendly and a little underweight. He of course can't foster her for lack of extra space in his house and he has to Great Pyrs in his backyard. He was just going to let her go to wander the streets again if I couldn't take her. I told him to take her to a shelter so that at least she is off the streets. He agreed to hold onto her for a day or two to give me time to find help. So...HELP! Are there any available rescues groups or foster homes in Texas? We can set up a transport or meeting.

Any info or help you guys can give would be greatly appreciated.
