Kaedyn's gotcha day! *pictures*

A year ago, my little devil dog came into our lives. I still remember every little detail. He was found wandering. After days of trying to catch him, he was finally cornered in a neighbor's backyard. He was taken to the pound for his impound period. The owners were contacted and said they'd come get him but they never did. They even drove him home TWICE but they never answered the door. On my first day as a dog walker, I saw him. It was his 4th day there. On the 5th, my mom and I came back to fill out the forms. Out of the 6 other applications, ours was chosen. On the 7th day, he came home with us! :D

His owners made a big mistake. This little guy has SO much potential. I know he'll make a great obedience dog one day. Oh well, their loss is my gain. :D

What a beautiful pictorial! I remember when you first got Kaedyn. Gosh has it been a year already? :) I think in so many cases things are *just meant to be* since it was your first day at the shelter and there he was. Out of all of the applications you were the lucky one and of course it goes without saying that he too was the lucky one winding up with you and Kai. My Ripley had a similar background and again it was just a matter of me being in the right place at the right time just as you were. :)

I can't belive it's been a whole year already that you've been in your new home! I don't think he could have asked for a better one either. He's got such a loving and patient mommy and is now a healthy weight and doing better with strangers. And he's got his younger brother to pick on all the time. And *cough* well he's not spoiled. ;)

I didn't make them lol. I bought them from a dog bakery but I think the guy said the cake had peanut butter in it. The little bone on top had carob on it too.

I'm glad you included the whole story of his adoption. Even though I pretty much remember it from when it happened I love hearing these stories over and over. They are my favorite.
