My cat is so cool. she can answer my phone. Ithought her how to answer my phones. one day the phone was ringing and it was an important call and I was in the bathroom taking a bath. If I didn't answer the phine then than i would lose a job opening and stuff. So i cride Sammy get the phone. She jumped onto the desk and knocked the phone of the hook. She started purring into the phone. I got out in time to talk on the phone. Isn't that neat!?!? I thought it was cute.

Hi,
A cat I had a while ago was a pest with the phone. She would often knock the receiver off and press the keypad although it was on the middle shelf of a bookshelf that she never sat on or went to for any other purpose but to play with the phone. One day my son and husband were playing tricks on each other, my husband pretending to get more frustrated and angry with every trick my son played on him. We were having a really good time, my son and me laughing and daddy getting madder and madder! At one point in the game my husband caught my son on the sofa and, hands ready to tickle him, said in amenacing voice,"Right, you'll pay for this! I'm going to get you!"
About an hour later we discovered the cat had been on the phone again and replaced the handset. The phone rang straight away and I answered it. There was a very angry man on the other end of the phone wanting to know why we were threatening his wife! The cat had phoned some poor lady in Wales and all she heard was a deep angry voice saying that she was going to pay and that he would get her! It took some explaining and I'm not sure if he was really convinced, but we didn't get a visit from the police so I guess he thought it was stupid enough to be true!
Our present two cats have a similar fascination for the fax machine although have only managed to send a test page to my father in law so far!

I loved your story and especially the line "the cat had been on the phone again." http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif LOL! One of my cats once walked on top of our clock radio and in so doing stepped on the "on" button. He scared himself to death as a voice came out of nowhere right underneath him!! He was out of the room in a flash!

My siamese cat knows that the alarm signals time for her to be fed. On the rare mornings that I can sleep late, she'll get on the dresser and knock the alarm around..which wakes me up. It's amazing that she associates that wierd box with my awakening...cats are totally awesome.

At my house, you'd better be ready to get up when the alarm clock goes off, because unless Mimi spent the night outside (which is rare), she's going to start yelling to be fed immediately. No rest for the weary! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/rolleyes.gif
