Anyone have a Petfinder rescuer account?

I was thinking about putting the kittens on a Petfinder ad, but seem to only be able to do a classified ad (ie: expires in 8 days, no pictures). Anyone know how I can join so can have them in there if someone is looking for a kitten in my area?

Yes. You have to get your vet to write a letter on company letterhead stating that you are a "cat rescue" .... you don't have to have a formal title or tax-free certification...just a letter from your vet. Once you get that, you submit it to Petfinder, and they will set you up an account. I've been meaning to do the same thing... just haven't done so yet. For now I am just posting the 7 day ads on Petfinder's classifieds..and of course I have my website. ;)

I have good news!! Phoebe (or Emma...which ever girl they pick) may have a home! My vet's wife called to say that their son's kindergarten teacher wants a female kitten. :) She's suposed to call me today sometime. :D

AND....if its OK with my boss, the vet's wife said I could bring the kittens into work as well!!! That would be so great!

I just ordered 4 Beastie Band collars for them. :) NO ONE will be able to resist a kitten in a cute collar!!! ha ha!

Once these cuties "get out there" I think they will be snatched up! :)
