Hi PBlovebug, it's not a beach persay, this is an island that they dreged from the bay, and they hold the "over the line" ball tournaments there and also the big boat races. The park area is Mission Bay Park, a huge area for boating and swimming, there is a tourist information building, biking, rollarblading, etc. This is off Mission bay and is called Fiesta Island. They have fire rings here but basically just land out in the bay.

I will have to take pictures of Mission Bay Park it is beautiful. The kite people come with their colorful kites, big, big ones, people have birthday parties and there is a beautiful Hilton hotel right on the beach.

Fantastic pictures, Jackie! The dogs look like they're enjoying the long weekend... :)

I grew up in San Diego and that Mission Bay backdrop with the Coronado Bridge nearly brought tears to my eyes! I loooovvvve SD!

Due to the wonderful weather we had up until today (yesterday was 64 degrees) I spent extra time outside with the dogs. We played and they ran until they were ready to drop. They were happy little campers until they saw these pictures. Now they think they "never get to do anything." ;)

Jackie I love these pictures! It looks like a fun day was had by all, humans and 4 leggers! The family picture of you with Don and the dogs is lovely. Don has his "little boy" and you have your "little girl." :) Thanks for sharing these! Hopefully come spring Bella will get to see the other ocean! :)

Oh what beautiful pics. Graham took one look at those pics and he was immediately jealous  He dosen't get to swim until next spring, because by the time he gets the cast off, the water will be frozen solid ;)

Jackie, your furbabies are so adorable...I love that little Daisy girl, and you always look so happy in all of your pictures. My aunt lives in Santa Barbara, if I ever get a chance to visit her again, I'll let you know because I might be able to go to San Diego.

Leslie, I would love that, Santa Barbara is not so far from here only take a few hours.
It would be great to get together and I would love for you to meet Daisy and Perry, and hopefully Graham could come too. Kisses for Graham from us.

Great pictures!!

Daisy is like Iris, and Perry is like Carl. One hates the water, and the other loves it! :D
