This was forwarded to me, I don't know this person but I will give her phone # if anyone can help.

Hi,

This is Aimee Giammo of Austin Siamese Rescue. I am forwarding this message
in the hopes you might know anyone with some heart to help out.

Recently in San Antonio, a well known Siamese breeder died. No family and
few friends...however she left behind over 200 cats in her home. It was some
time before anyone realized she was gone. I'm sure you can imagine the havoc
they found within. The cats are all diffferent ages...I think they are
pulling up the floorboards of the house today (Mon) to rescue the kittens
that crawled down there to hide.

Tonja Pfister of Texas Siamese Rescue has offered to take in 50- 60. This is
really stretching her facility to the max as she normally only houses 80
cats and she is already full. Austin Siamese Rescue is trying to take what
we can, as well as some rescue groups in San Antonio.

The cats are currently being treated for dehydration and will be evaluated
by vets.

If you know anyone at all who can help, please please please have them
contact me and I will get them in contact with the people coordinating this
rescue effort.

We took 4 of those cats in where I work. Two of my friends went up and volunteered for a day and helped test all the cats. My friend works at a shelter in San Antonio who took in 75 of the cats. I will ask her for an update. A lot of them were in horrendous conditions and needed amputations and all sorts of terrible stuff. Its been a nightmare :(

******THE FOLLOWING IS VERY DISTURBING so don't read if you don't want to ******

It was actually a man who died and the cats had to eat him to stay alive because they were alone so long. So you can imagine the condition of the home ..
