Ozzy out at the lake *17 pics*

took ozzy to the lake for the first time since he became handicapped and he did well!!
I was worried if he would be able to swim well or not because his back right leg still doesnt function properly.
He's till wobbly when he walks and he runs funny but other than that he's a normal happy go lucky guy!
still don't know if he'll make a full recovery or if he'll always be "gimpy" (i know i'm horrible but its what i call him and i say it out of love i swear)



anways he had a great time and really loved to be back in the water!
sorry for so many pics but i loved seeing him enjoying himself again!!

he loves water so much that even after we wouldnt throw it for him anymore he took his stick and went into the water by himself and just walked/swam around lol

Oh Ozzy is such a handsome boy! Looks like he had a ton of fun swimming! Which reminds me, I need to take Rita swimming soon!;)

I didn't know the background on Ozzy so I searched and read all about his ailment. (I'm not sure how I missed all those threads back in May:confused:) Poor guy. I'm so glad to hear how well he is doing now. :D

How old is Ozzy? I didn't see it mentioned in the other threads I read.

Now that is one happy doggie! I am sure you were grinning from ear to ear seeing him like this He is one lucky boy to have such a great family taking him to the lake There are some great photos of him in this batch, I could never pick just one. Thanks for sharing a lovely day!
