That is interesting. I wonder how much you think he will weigh when he is full grown. He has the look of a future big dog, but 17.4 pounds at 5 months....doesn't equate.

Layla I think you are safe. It looks to me like Jake isn't going to be as big a boy as we might have thought. Jake, I was always told that smoking will stunt your growth. Thanks for the nice replies. :D Time will tell how big he gets. I took him to Petsmart today and people were all saying oh he's gonna be a big dog and I tell them he's 5 mo old and they're like "oh". :o

Pam, Jake is not smoking. ;) And trust me Layla can hear 50 miles away with those ears, she barks at everything. :rolleyes:

Kay, Jake still goes through the gate.His butt is starting to get stuck though. Hopefully he'll get a bit bigger so he won't fit, we can't make it any smaller or the cats won't fit through it! :p
