Well, Ginger got a phone call from her best fur friends this morning, and they invited her to the park. I really wanted to say no, but she looked up with those bright eyes and wagging tail and, well, how could I say no.

The last 10 pictures all came out smudged because apparently one of the pups got the lens when he moved in for his/her close-up. Too bad, because this would have been a nice picture.

One more picture from the other day. Ginger lays on the top of the love seat and looks out the window all day. But at this time one of my neighbors had company (someone Ginger did not know) leaving. Look how alert she is. :)

Gosh, how do you keep Ginger so white? Do people ask you that a lot? My RB Chloe's coat was a lot like Ginger's and people always asked me that...lol.

Ginger has some fine looking friends. :cool: I think I might have met one or two of them the day we went to the Animal Welfare event (was that the name of it? :o ) Joyce where is the dog park? Maybe before it gets to be 100 degrees out I could meet you there. My dogs have never been to a dog park because my dogs' trainer at obedience school was not a fan of them - told us some stories that scared me. :eek: I wouldn't mind going, though, if it was just a small group. :)

Actually, I think it is just that you can't tell how dirty she is in pictures. ;) :D Fortunately she has the kind of coat where the worst of it brushes out, but she is due for a bath. What kind of dog was Chloe?

Pam, that dog park is actually only one mile from our condo so we go there often. But, there is actually a nicer one in Voorhees, right down the street from the Animal Welfare Association if you know where that is. And we would love to meet you Bella and Ripley there when the weather gets nicer.

Ginger and I thank you all very much for all of the nice comments. She says that coming to Pet Talk is as much fun as going to the park. ;)

Looks like Ginger had a great time at the dog park with all of her friends! That's great that you have a dog park pretty close by. Do you get to see a lot of the same dogs there, or is it pretty random?

Thank you again, everyone, for such nice comments. It really is pretty random, Craig. It seems that you may see the same dogs for a couple of weeks, but then it changes, and you don't see them for months. There have been a couple of occasions when people try to set up scheduled play groups but it never works. And I kind of like having Ginger meet new dogs all of the time, anyway. :)
