that what I am noticing in his legs is nothing serious. I have noticed the last couple of days that my little man's legs back legs have been seeming to flex foward at the stifle joint. I don't know if he has hyperextend the joints by standing on his hind legs begging to be picked up or if he is double jointed. He has an appointment today at 3:10. He is just to young to have something that will affect his ability to walk for the rest of his life, he is not quite 10 months and could live 15+ years. I ask all of you to please think of him today and when you do please say a little prayer for my little man.
Thanks

Hi PT iz me Chopper, I know mommy azkd you to fink of me today but pwees fink of her too, her getz very emotional when sumpin is wong wiff her babies. Luv Chopper

EDIT: If it is that he is double jointed it will most likely lead to hip and knee problems and arthritis as he ages.

EDIT 2: Well we are back from the vet. He said that he has hyperextension of his tarsus in both legs and that it was just normal for him just like for some people. There is NO reason to worry. Thank God and thank all of you for thinking and praying for my little man. He weighs 3.5 pounds!!

Oh no, not our little Chopper! :( He has been a topic of discussion during many of our PT get togethers this month, so he's certainly got a lot of people wrapped around his little paw.

I know I'll keep you and him in my thoughts, Traci, you let me know if there's anything I can do. :)

Thank you everyone. I will definitely keep you all posted on what the white coats have to say, hopefully it will be good news and maybe he just hyperextended the joints and can be splinted or something to allow them to heal. My little man sends his puppy luvin's right back to all of you.

I am sorry I just saw this thread, but I am glad the problem is nothing serious. Arthritis is painfully hard to watch your dog develop, it is really a sad thing to watch for any dog owner.

Thanks everyone for all the prayers. I am so glad it was not something serious that was going to affect him for life. The vet said it is just how he is, just like some people. Yep, a whole whopping 3.5 pounds. I think the scale was broke when we left. :D
