I'm really sorry that I have been posting so many threads about horse show pictures, but we have been to a lot of them lately, and I enjoy sharing it with you all. :) This show (on Sunday) was probably the last show of the year. :( I love horse shows so much, I'm excited for next years season!! :D

Yesterday, I didN'T show in Western Pleasure, horsemanship, or showmanship classes, only the gaming classes...

My next horse... :D hopefully. His name is Snoose, and he is a 5 year old, Quarter Horse Gelding. He is gigantic! :eek: He is absolutly stunning though. He needs some work, because he just started riding though. They want $1850 for him, so I don't know if I can get him just yet. I don't really want to sell Austin, so I somehow have to come up with $1850, more money for feed, and shelter...so I dont know. I'll hopefully be getting this guy though..

Me and "my" puppy Billy (some of you may remember him from previous posts) I took care of him all day, he is SO sweet, and cute :p He is my friend Josh's moms dog. He sat on my lap while I sat on Austin all day.

Cody, he is a friend of Josh's family. He doesn't have any horses of his own, he pretty much helps Josh's family out, and rides a little. I asked him to watch Austin for me, and I came back 5 minutes later, and he was riding him around. :o I'm so glad Austin is well trained.. :p

I don't even know what placings me and Austin got. :o I was having too much fun, and hanging out with my friends to even care. Me and Cassie did 2 team events. The rescue race (one person stands at the end of the arena, while the other, on horseback, races down, picks them up *while the horse is still moving* and runs back) I picked up Cassie, and when we were racing back, Austin started bucking, a LOT. :p I was so scared she was gonna fall off, but she didn't :p

Me and Cassie & Me and Jamie also did Clover Leaf Barrels. It was a BLAST, when me and Jamie went, we didn't do very good because Jamies horse didn't want to go around the barrels, but when me and Cassie did it, we WON!! Yay!! :p I was so happy.

I know, he is actually pretty cheap for how nice he is. I just don't have any money at the moment, because I'm still paying off for my camera, and I have to buy $300 worth of hay for the horses I have now, and I'd have to add probably another $100 if I got Snoose. I also have to pay for a cell phone bill too. I don't have a job right now, and I can't get one until after Basketball season is over (March) so I'm kinda stuck. Maybe if I can find some jobs from my mom and dad...I don't know, but I'll see.

And yes, I'll have to agree with you about Josh.. ;) :p lol

great pictures! i hope the little girl is ok. it's always really embarrassing to fall when all eyes are on you. trust me! i fell showing a siberian husky not too long ago. :o Billy is so cute. what kind of dog is he? corgi X? i don't know much about horse sports, but i've always thought they looked so fun!

It last from, o, Novemeber - March or so. The hay here is WAY less expensive then down south, it is about $2.50 a bale.

WOW! I need me some land! That's how much ONE horse costs to board minus wormer and farrier for a month at the cheapest place around here!

Wow! That's totally neat! You are so pretty! ;) These pictures made me a little homesick for Indiana. 4-H and the state fair were the entertainment in my hometown, and I always loved watching the horses and riders. How long have you been riding?

Gorgeous pictures! I have always loved horses and swore to have one some day. I think the closest I can get now is to one day own a home in the country near someone else who has horses! ;)
