Max's breed may be Dog but he is beautiful nonetheless. The story of Max and you, Max's pal, is a very good one. You know and I know that dogs have a lot more savy about their people than many among us realize and the best of that comes out when you really need them...like when you, pal, were really sick with cancer and the accompanying treatments.
I once had a Boxer that was a great dog but he was rambunctious, playful and had more energy than almost anything I had ever seen but when I came home from the hospital with an incision in my belly, I showed it to him and he never once did anything to hurt me although he was by my side almost every minute.
When you experience the kind of love that you got and are getting from Max, you have truly been blessed. Love him and cherish him every day as he does you.
