See Milton the Bearded Dragon, the Pet of the Day
Name: Milton
Age: One month old
Gender: Male
Kind: Bearded Dragon
Home: Midland North Carolina, USA

Milton is a hypo silk dunner Bearded Dragon, this means he has the hypo gene which causes bearded dragons nails to be clear, the silkback gene which causes a dragon to not have any scales, and the dunner gene which causes their scales to be super spiky and random (which doesn't effect Milton because he has no scales but will effect his babies one day).

Milton is super calm for a baby, when my other bearded dragon was young she wouldn't sit still, but Milton is very well behaved. That doesn't mean he can't move though, he chases down his crickets with surprising speed when he's hungry.

Since Milton has no scales, he is super soft to the touch (hence the name "silkback"). He does require a little bit more care than normal dragons thanks to this though. Silks can develop shedding problems, so you have to make sure to keep them hydrated and give them regular baths along with a slightly cooler heat lamp. Other than that, they're not much different from normal beardies. We love our little guy!
