This
is Bobby, a Congo African Grey parrot. He is three years and
five months old. We live in San Diego, California. CAG parrots are by
far the smartest of all parrots. Bobby started to talk after about
one year and has been accelerating his vocabulary intake on an
incredible scale. It has gotten to the point where he will pick up a
word or phrase after hearing it only once. His current favorite is
"Wow!!" in all variety of tones, he heard me say it once
last week on the phone. Because he is clipped and we live in San
Diego, we are outside a lot and Bobby has determined he likes
"field trips" no matter where we are going. The mall, the
park, the beach...
