BJ
lives in our classroom at Northwood Jr. High. He stays in an
aquarium most of the time, but he loves to walk around the room and
get exercise. After he is tired, he hides behind things and rests. We
take turns taking care of BJ. He needs food and fresh water every
day. BJ's favorite foods are bananas, strawberries and he loves
worms. When we garden in the spring and fall we look for worms for BJ
to eat. We think BJ is special because he does not hide in his shell
from us because he knows we won't hurt him. He loves to have his head
rubbed.
