Kevlin left his trailer with all of the cats and went to a brick home. Everyone is fine. I talked to Mom a couple of times yesterday and she's fine. There was no damage to her trailer. We are all fine, no damage to our home, just a huge mess in the yard from all our trees. We got power back on last night, THANK GOD. That was really quick considering when Andrew came we were without power for three days. We are very thankful that everyone is ok.

Thank you SO MUCH for the update Rie. I followed Laura's boat progress on that map that Phred posted and kept worrying about the rest of you and the Babies - thank God for the good news of minimal damage and return of your power!

Wow you all are very lucky. How far away are you from New Orleans? The news media is concentrationing so New Orleans we dont get a sense of what is happening elsewhere in the state. CNN is reporting it will be 4-6 weeks before power is restored. Can not imagine that mess.

Craftlady.......we are about 50 miles from N.O.. We got lots of wind and very little rain. My neighbor has some family and friends staying with them that live in or around N.O. and from the reports they are getting, they probably don't have homes to go back to, or they are under 10-15 feet of water.
