The 4th of July Picnic...Tons of Pics!

Hi everyone! We had a great time with the family yesterday and ate tons of food. Of course you know me I was excited to see all the dogs. We took Katie and Tori and there were about 5 other family dogs there ( I think). They were all so cute. I also ran into alot of doggies and I was thrilled. I saw my first adult mastiff (I didn't ask what he was because I just assumed he was a mastiff and not a bull mastiff because of his size...HUGE...he had to weigh close to 200 pounds). I have only seens puppy mastiffs before so I was so shocked at how big he was. The picture does not truly show his size! You just had to see him. Alden had taken Katie for a walk and told me that night that he ran into a woman with a Bedlington Terrier (I'm not for sure if I'm saying that right). My husband did NOT come and get me! I could have killed him!! I have never seen this breed before and I don't think there are a whole lot of them here in the states. Of course when we took Katie and Tori for a walk we got several comments about them and you know how much I like that!

Anyhoo.... it was great getting together with the family, the food was fantastic and there was tons of it of course and lots of little furfaces running around. What could be better! Hmmm...maybe if it was just a litte bit cooler. Boy, was it hot!!

SWEET LIL ANGEL (she was so cute, they said she was a mix of great dane and ?...they had just lost their great dane 3 weeks ago...she seemed so scared of the big girls at first but it didn't stop her from walking up to them and she even dribbled she was so nervous. Her and Katie seemed to really like each other and before Angel walked away she was wagging her little tail and didn't want to leave....soooooo cute!)

(I don't know if you can see the line that Katie is on, but her line was about 5 feet longer than Tori's and at one point Tori just did not like that big sis could go farther than her so first she started biting Katie's legs and when that didn't work she started tugging on her line. It was hilarious!! This went on for quite awhile and was very entertaining. Tori would get her way and big sis would come back for a bit...LOL

(BTW, send some of that warm weather our way. It was only about 57 degrees here today. )

First of all I have to tell Rocky that Katie says hi and is just wagging that fluffy tail and sends out lots of sloppy wet kisses.

Kay, isn't Sissy so cute. She growled most of the day and couldn't stand it when I was taking a picture of her. She was growling in most of them that I took. She was too funny. My cousin's husband said "Now that dog has some issues"....hahahaha. Do you think you could do anything with the pic that I posted..get my uncles legs out of there or something. I love that pic of Sissy and would like to print it out for them.

Hey, now what is so funny about Bran's hair The fact that it is longer than mine, prettier than mine!~ I think I'm finally getting use to his long hair...hehehe!

57 degrees...Wow! I didn't realize that Minnesota stayed cool so long. After yesterday I would love some 57 degree temps. I love the cold weather. How is your new camera doing? I love your sig and avatar. Great job!

And...Amy..are you sure that is not a grown up Tori in your sig!

It's not usually this cool this time of year. We have had a very rainy, cool summer so far. It gets warm for a couple days, then we have very cool weather, cloudy rainy for about 4-5 days before it starts warming up again. Ichhhhhhhh, very depressing!

I love my new camera so far. I've been experimenting today with it, it's really neat. I bought a 256MB memory card for it, so I can take LOTS of pictures!!

I can't believe how much Tori has grown! They look so good together. You should consider yourself very lucky. I love Angel! She looks so sweet. Lots of pretty dogs there. Looks like a great time.
