Kai is back from his surgury! [Pictures]

Everything went well. Dr. Foukal said that he was expecting to see something very obvious but he found that the entire area was swelling. A piece of the tissue was sent to the lab for testing; I guess we'll find out more on Friday when they send back the results. We're not all that sure what it was causing him to limp. He said it may be a tumor growing around the joints but nothing's for certain yet.

I was in a trigger-happy mood so here are some pictures of Kai (and a couple of Kaedyn):

A very happy Kai on the way home




The little guy didn't want to stay off his paw. He tried jumping on the couch right away but didn't make it. Kaedyn tried playing with him but the poor guy couldn't do anything but let Kaedyn jump on him before I got to them.


And of course, following our post-surgury tradition, they got a plain hamburger.

Thanks to everyone who sent good vibes towards our way. I know it was a minor surgury but I couldn't help but worry the entire time. I'm going to be a nutcase from now until friday when we find out the results.

I think I missed something, but anyway, I am glad Kai got the surgery over with. Now time to send prayers and well wishes, that his test turns out okay.

He has been a real trooper so far. I'm guessing he doesn't feel much pain because I have to actually force him to stay down so he doesn't hurt himself. He hasn't limped since we got home so I'm hoping we won't have to see the vet for a very long time! *crosses fingers*
