    Kodie

    I have a 10 month old puppy.and when we have new people come over,he just wont stop licking them,just bugging them for atleast an hour until he calms down,and he will jump on them.i dont know what to do? is it a good thing? a bad thing?thanks

    Hi and welcome to Pet Talk.

    WW Kodie is gorgeous.

    As for the jumping up on visitors, simple old obedience should fix it. Kodie is only a pup so is still in the excitable stage. When the visitors arrive always have Kodie onlead, so you are in control. If Kodie goes to jump up on people tell him to sit and wait until he is settled before your visitors greet him. If Kodie again goes to jump have your visitors turn their backs and completly ignore him, then try the sitting again, eventually Kodie should catch on to sitting quietly gets attention.
