    **ADORABLE RAT PICS!!**

    YES!! MORE PICTURES!! I decided I haven't spoiled my ratties enough lately, so I went out shopping and bought them two new toys and some yummy duck and potato canned Natural Balance for a treat. I should be saving this money so I can get a Ruud for them (I am only about $30 away), but I am babysitting next weekend, so what the heck- SPOIL AWAY!!

    Oh did they just LOVE their two new toys, a Comfy Perch and another log stick perch! They had to sniff and taste them for a LONG time which sent them into a spunky frenzy causing them to act all spunky and giddy.

    Kate, I am having second thoughts about you coming over, you might die from cuteness overload!!

    Ha ha! It is a door stop that my mom got me for Christmas at the feed store in town. I shoved it next to the rat cage for no reason, lol.

    If only that was a real yellow labbie laying there...*sigh* *laura starts dreaming*

    very cute pics! what is a ruud?

    i love it how you also let your rats run around your room, i do the same thing but only in their bedroom even though my whole house is feerret proof not sure about rat proof they are much smaller.

    But I am having second thoughts about it now. I need to take two of my rats to the vet and I have to pay this time, not my mom, so no more money in my pocket, since my vet charges two arms, two legs, and one ear.

    I think I am going to degisn a cage and build it as a spring/summer project, that would be fun, I love doing that kind of work. I think it would be neat to make my ratties cage, then I can do what ever I please with it! Hmmmm....*tons of ideas run through my head*.

    duh, know after seeing it i remember that ruud is a martin rat cage. it is mighty nice & HUGE. i would love it! my rats are in a 3 story martins cage right now, im planning on getting a new cage for them this summer when my pocket book gets fuller lol! Their cage is about 5 years old, its getting a bit worn in some spots.
    Soar high & free my sweet fur angels. I love you Nanook & Raustyk... forever & ever.

    Oooh, nice! What kind of cage do you plan on getting!? I used to have the Super Pet Multi-Level Ferret Cage, and I hated it with a passion. I have a horrible back and that cage was a terror to clean...well all cages for that matter...but this one by far was the worst cage to clean. My rats LOVED it a lot, but it was too hard for me to keep up with the cleaning requirements of that cage, so I had to get a new one. I feel bad for my rats that I did that, but I can't mess up my back worse than how it is now.

    WOW, the same cage for 5 years! That's pretty good!! My rats have gone through about 7 cages in the past 3 years, I always have to switch them around and give them something new...my ratties never get bored.
