    Agressive disorders.. LOL

We are at my aunt's house.. Its my brothers birthday today so we came here.. Princess is here and so we brought cami.. She is being really aggressive to her.. Snarling, barking and growling.. She has tried to mount her about 2 times.. Im so fed up.. I know this isnt something to be mad about but i am.. What if i have a pettalk meeting? Would i not be able to bring cami? Im just so fustrated.. I don't want cami to go and hump the dogs.. Everyone will think my dogs weird.. ughhh just soo fed up.. I wanna be able to bring cami and princess or razz over to play, but with cami so aggresive its annoying.. So help what should i do?? I know i shouldn't get mad at all but its hard for me not too.. Whenever i tell my parents or my family cami is only mounting to show dominence (sp) they think im crazy.. I really just need to figure this all out.. You know? im confused.. help!! So i will be here for awhile so im going to the pool now.. Be back soon to check if anyone wrote to me! Thanks everyone! And
if anyone can tell my family why dogs are showing dominence! Ahh sorry if im making a big deal outta nothing.. it just really bothers me that i might not be able to take her to meetings, without her humping or being aggressive.. So if i do go to one dont mind cami!! hehe

It is a way of showing dominance and even sometimes just a way of playing! Nala snaks up and jumps on Simba's back all the time while they're playing.

Have you ever corrected Cami when she does it? Tell her no and take her away. Did you ever socialize her as a puppy?

It sounds as if she really hasn't been socialized to other dogs....She doesn't know how to act with them. I would recommend enrolling her in a basic obedience class! She needs to get used to other dogs!

We have done a lot of socializing with Bailey at the dog park and obedience. She too was doing the humping/jumping on top of other dogs thing. However, she has learned her lesson about who she can do that with and who she can't. It only took a couple of dogs to "tell her off" for humping/jumping on them for her to stop.

She currently does the jumping on top thing with Guinness, but in that case, we correct her, because Guinness is rather submissive and he won't "tell her off". All we have to do is give her a warning and if she doesn't listen, we spray her on one of her hind legs with water from a spray bottle. That usually does the trick.

I agree with Kfamr and wolfq about socializing and obedience. Good luck!

Yep, socialization and obedience sound like a good idea.

If you work with her enough, she'll learn that when you say NO, you mean NO.

Every once in a blue moon, Murph will try to mount Oz. Oz
just calmly stands up and Murph is left with his face pressed
against the back end of Oz's butt, so that pretty much puts an
    end to the mounting.

I try to correct her but my mom said she isn't really mounting.. she is just jumping on her back to play.. Everyone else thinks it's mounting.. As a puppy we didnt socialize her, well at christmas which was around when we got her she was socialized with a dog.. thats it... So im gonna tell my mom about the obidence classes.. If not then im gonna go to the dog park...

Cloverfdx- when they fist met it was outside.. not at my house at princess's house.. then they went inside..

oh ok, maybe if you re-introduce them on neutral ground and start out just going for a walk near one another, just untill they are tolerating each other , but obedience classes would realy help to show her who's boss

    good luck
