    Lily's Journey to Canada

    Ok, its official! Lily will be arriving to her new mommy next Thursday.. just a little over a week away. She's got a little adventure ahead of her on that 12 hour plane flight, but my sister will be with her to make she she's okay.

    It seems like just yesterday when she came to me with her leg in such bad shape, the vet was afraid it would fall off or need to be amputated But she's made a 100% recovery and is a strong, active little kitten She's brought such joy and comfort into my life and I'm having a hard time imagining how it will be without her.

    There are not many people I would send one of my fosters out of the country for, but I am HONORED for our very own ScantyNebula to be adopting Lily. I'm so happy she'll be staying in the Pet Talk family and soooooo excited to be able to see pictures of her growing up with her new big brother, Toby.

    Just thought I'd start this thread so Johanna and I can keep you updated until she's home!

    I am HONORED that you would let me adopt her, she's a beauty .. I can imagine how hard it must be for you to give her up, but it won't be all that bad, you'll still get to see her grow up! Trust me, I have literally hundreds of pictures of Toby on this computer .. so I will make sure to take that many of Lily for you!

    What a wonderful collage! I hate seeing the pic of her damaged leg so sad seeing kitties in that condition, and she looks so happy and healthy now!

    Countdown from today: 9 more days!! ooh I can't wait!!

    I forgot to tell you, her birthday is March 23rd.

    I might be a couple days off but it should be within a few days around there!

    That is so wonderful!! How neat that one of our very own angel Aly's fosters to be going to a PT mom! What an exciting adventure that lies ahead for her! I can't wait to hear about her trip and her arrival at her new mommy's!!
    Congrats to Lily and to Aly for being such a great foster mom!

    Lily melted my heart from the very beginning when I saw her poor pawsie -and now she's a real beauty and in her pix looks like quite a handful .

    And Toby is the sweetest looking boy here at PT -he has this special nose that just calls for kissing. I am so glad that they will be together now and that we can hear many stories about them.

    LiLY here. I shure kan't wait to git to yur houze! You wuld not believe wut I had to do today! My fozter mommie made me go to dat big building with the letters V-E-T on it! Wut duz dat spell anyway? It had doz peepul dat stick you wit thermometerz in all da wrong places Da lady there printed off some paperz dat sed I wuz allowed to go to Canaduh on da plane!

    Guess what else, my fozter mommie sez she made a miztake and I will akshually be dere on WEDNESDAY insteed of THURSDAY if yur mommie wunted to come git me a day EARLEE!!!! Fozter mommie will pm yur mommie (well now she'z OUR mommie ) an tell her da info!

    I cant beleeve wut dey did to u! I remembur wen i had to get dat dun .. i was so mad at my meomie! bud at leest u can come to canaduh now!

    I will let u play wit my toyz wen you get heir! But Meomie sez we won't be able to see each udder right away! I don't tink i like dat..

    And also, my Meomie sayz she'z so happy dat she can pic u up Wensday now stead of Tursday! Me to!

    P.S. I asked my Meomie wut vet spels an she sid dat its only for grown upz!
