How To Save My Garden From Outsider Cats?

Hi everyone, I am a newbie on this forum and I need some help friends.

I have three cats and I have no problem with them. But the problem is with the outsider cats. As I have a vast garden and my husband loves this more than me. But recently we are noticing some outsider cats spoiling plants and saplings. Sometimes they use the garden as a toilet and latrine. We dont understand what should do and how to stop them to come our garden. Could anyone please suggest what to do? Any kind of suggestions will be highly appreciated.

    1. Physical barriers: Install fences or barriers around your garden to prevent cats from entering. To deter them from digging underneath, you can use chicken wire or mesh fencing buried a few inches underground.
    2. Repellents: Various repellents deter cats from entering your garden. These can be in the form of sprays, granules, or ultrasonic devices. Common repellents include citrus peels, cayenne pepper, or commercial cat repellent sprays.

Ultrasonic devices might harm them. So avoid using it.

    3. Scents: Cats are sensitive to certain smells, so you can use scents that they dislike to deter them. Planting strong-smelling herbs like lavender, rosemary, or rue around the perimeter of your garden may help keep cats away.

    4. Motion-activated devices: Install motion-activated sprinklers or noise-making devices in your garden to startle cats when they enter.

Cats can either frighten up or might destroy your Motion activated devices.

In the end I will say you provide them any alternate space where they can litter around. Depends on you!
