Sammy the Sweetie!
Dearest Sammy, what a sweetie you are indeed! You're a strikingly beautiful Orange Tabby guy. Your fluffy orange fur with white trim is so pretty and looks so soft, and you have the sweetest face with that cute pink nose and those lovely big orange eyes that go with your fur. My strikingly beautiful Orange Tabby girl Sparkler says "Hello, Meow!" She also has a lot of white trim and lovely big orange eyes that go with her fur. Thank you for sharing those great photos with us! You're absolutely gorgeous in them all; first sitting up and gazing out at me, then looking down from the kitchen cabinet, and finally resting and looking at the phone. Perhaps you're waiting for a call from Sparkler?! She's pulling out her cell phone right now! I wish I could reach through the screen and across the country to Los Angeles and pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrson will pet you for me
.
And what a delightful Purrrsonality you have! You came into your dear Purrrson's life sixteen years ago. She/he had always had cats and dogs but at this point thought that a cat would be easier for her/his lifestyle. You've turned out to be the Purrrfect choice! You're utterly adorable, her/his confidante and friend, and you make her smile with your funny, quirky antics. You greet her when she comes home, and you're quite the conversationalist, communicating very well what you want or mean. You open doors, jump in cabinets (as demonstrated photographically), drink water from the sink. You're funny and friendly, and everyone who meets you falls in love with you. You and your dear Purrrson love each other very much, don't you. You're so very special, her Cat of the Day every single day! What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling sweetie Sammy, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Purrrson and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats. Sparkler joins in rejoicing with you with loud purrrs!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
