Good morning, handsome Drake! I don't even want to think about how you got to the pound. What I do want to think about is this:

he just goes to people, walks around them like a king among his subjects, and then just sits and waits, as if to say, "you know... you're supposed to pet me now and say how beautiful I am!"

Please have your people pet you for me and please let me say how beautiful you are, Drake! I think you are magnificent! You are just full of fun and love -- I would like to give you a huge hug today! I hope you, Winston and your people will have many wonderful, fun-filled, joyful years together! Happy Dog of the Day, sweet Drake!

Hi Drake! Happy Dog of the Day to you!!! What a hunk of a Bernie you are, Drake, and oh, doesn't the camera love YOU (and Winston, too)! Your photos are breathtaking! Most handsome, aristocratic, photogenic dog on the planet finds his way to a family with such a talent for photography! (Professional photographers perhaps?)

I can't for the life of me understand how a beautiful, big hearted Bernie such as you came to find himself in a shelter, hours away from a most unspeakable fate! (Why not pure breed rescue???) But, there was definitely a Christmas miracle in store for you, sweetheart, and blessedly your family found their way to you in time! There's not a doubt in my mind that it was more than mere serendipity, coincidence, that your birthday would fall on the same day as your beloved predecessor's passing! As your Mom/Dad says, on that day an angel earned his wings, and another was born! I have to tell you, Drake, my heart skipped a beat when I read that, as my Lab Star was born the same year, on the same day, at the same hour, as my heart Lab Jingles passed to the Rainbow Bridge! What a priceless gift was bestowed upon you and your family that fateful day, the gift of unconditional love and devoted companionship!

You truly are one in a million, Drake, so perfect in every way, and your family, your "customers," all lucky enough to cross your path, are truly blessed to know you! Keep up the good work, Drake, being the most handsome, most aristocratic, most loving furkid (and best studio assistant, hehe) a family could ever hope for! You do your beloved predecessor proud, Drake!

Hi Drake, Yes, indeed, you are a very handsome big boy!! I liked all your photos but my fav is the one of you nearly covered with snow; I laughed when I saw it.
