The commentator said the best option for the U.S. at this point is to continue to encourage Qaddafi to leave, and to look at other non-military options. Is that accurate? (I missed the beginning of the story) If we want Qaddafi gone, why can't we publicly take that position? And what's the relationship between a might/might not happen situation in Libya and oil prices?

    Thanks,

Awwwww....they are upset about that ???? Maybe we should all go over there and sit and hold their hands for a while, maybe a shoulder to cry on.
Perhaps then they would give us a discount on the oil ????
I'm waiting to see what kind of fruitcake will replace Gaddafi.

For those of you in Massachusetts, did you know "the shot heard round the world" was fired in New Hampshire

American history, as written by Michele Bachmann.

She is quite cute as well. Think we can ship her off to Australia with the other historian?

I agree - she is quite attractive. And another plus for her - she didn't up and quit halfway through her first term in Congress. She stuck it out and is now in her third term. She also has 5 children, and has been a foster mom to 23.

I think Wom is the perfect answer - he seems to have more knowledge of American history than she does

    Thankyou Gretchen.
She would be a sweet partner to have.
She has looks AND a sense of humour....now that TWO plus's.
I gotta tell ya.....there's some people here who have less sense of humour than a house brick.....the ones that THINK they are educated

Sadly she lacks a brain to go with her looks and "sense of humor."

This was a prepared speech - not an "off-the-cuff." Doesn't she have some handlers who can connect the state she is in (physically ) with the appropiate information.

What she did would be a bit like making a speech in Alaska extolling the Civil War battles fought there.

I don't know who you are referencing here, John. I do know that I would prefer that people who represent me in Congress and/or Senate and/or White House have some semblance of knowledge. If one is going to speak about events that are documented in history books, one should be darn sure one has the facts correct, or one risks looking like a fool. If one does not know, one should keep one's mouth shut.

When I lived in New England I often visited Concord and Lexington, NH.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
