True seperation anxiety is a tough situation, but it can be worked through. Reece had it severely when I adopted him. We went through a little bit of a rough time while I was working with him and training it out of him, but he's completely over it now. And I am so in love with him, I wouldn't trade him or the experience for the world.
I haven't kept updated on the Breeze situation so I'm not sure what all is happening. You may want to be sure that it is indeed seperation anxiety (and not boredom or something else), and then work with her so that she can get over it. I am sure she can't be a guide dog if she does have seperation anxiety.
