Amy (cincy's mom) Trains Next Generation Race Car Drivers

This weekend we took the kids to Cedar Point. Carl's place of work had their "Day" where we got free tickets for Carl and I and the others had disount tickets. Now on to the pictures

Here is Amy and Dominic on the Peanuts 500 ride:

So who had the most fun, big kids or little kids?

When Amy and Christy were little, it really didn't pay to take little ones to Cedar Point, there just wasn't enough kids rides. It us unbelievable as to how much they have now for the kids. As Disney Land has Mickey Mouse, Cedar Point has Snoopy. At the front of the Park is World Snoopy and at the back Camp Snoopy. Since I stayed with the little kids, I didn't get pictures of any of the big rides that Amy, Christy and Carl went on. I think everyone had fun though.

Here was Jasmine's favorite ride - the Froghopper - she couldn't quit laughing all the time she was on it. And she only rode it 4 times.

It was a fun day! It was hot and humid, but the sun wasn't beating down, so it was bearable. And it was so fun to watch the kids experience everything for the first time...and Christy too. She hadn't been onthe Maverick or Top Thrill Dragster yet, and I think she was pretty impressed.

I took a few pictures and they are http://share.shutterfly.com/action/w...AbM3LVi3cuGLmY

We got there at 10 in the morning and didn't leave until 10:00 at night - I never thought we'd last that long - but I think all the kids and maybe the grandparents had a great time!

What fun!! I remember when I was a kid, Berenstain Bears were the attraction. Not sure when they phased them out and replaced them with Snoopy.

I need to make a trip down. Haven't been in a couple of years.

What great pictures of Dominic & Jasmine. They look like they enjoyed
themselves. In fact, looks like eveybody had a great time.

    Thanks for sharing these pictures.

I am not sure where my girls got their sense of adventure - I know it wasn't from me and I'm pretty sure it wasn't from Carl!!!

It is very possible that I need to return to Findlay and steal this little boy for a while. (with Grandma's permission that is).

Dominic, I have a Snoopy collection you would just love!! And I bet I could find more blueberries too.

Awww, these are GREAT pictures, Diana! All the big kids look like they are having as much fun as the little ones! What a fun day! I don't think you could get me n one of those new-fangled roller-coasters, though - yikes!

I have fond memories of Cedar Point from childhood - not that we went often, but I just remember how much fun it was. That was back when "Jungle Larry's Island" was first opened. (it probably isn't even part of the park anymore)

It isn't, but I remember Jungle Larry's! I had forgotten until you metioned it....it was back by the Corkscrew (and I just looked up to see if closed in 1994!)

Wow, I get sick just looking at those roller coasters.

I wish you could send Brian these pictures. I'm sure it would cheer him up
to see how happy they were.
