    New Stuffie: Flat Buffalo

I ate dinner out tonight and had saved Dasher some steak in a napkin. Of course, I forgot the napkin. Left it laying on the table. I felt bad so I was going to get him a fresh bone to chew on. Publix didn't have any. I was walking down the animal isle (big mistake) and saw this big, flat buffalo stuffie with five squeakers. I knew he would like it because he loves to shake and toss the stuffies. Publix often has some good stuffies that are a lot cheaper than the pet stores. The raccoon and buffalo I bought are made by the Coleman company. Same ones that do the camping stuff. The buffalo was $10.50. The mallard I paid $15 for at Petco is only $6 at Publix. Dasher had much fun playing and is now sleeping.

So proud of his new stuffie. See how happy he is?

This one is my favorite. What a silly dog

    And a little family portrait

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

What fun!! You have a lovely family there Val.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Looks like he loves it! He's always such a happy guy in all of his pictures.

I was thinking about getting Winston a Bear version of the same toy for Christmas, but the store I went to didn't have any left.

Your favorite of him playing is also my favorite. If you look real hard you can actually see him swinging it around. The family portrait is adorable.
