Thread of the year 2003 ..... nominations

We’re well in to February and I thought it’s time to see if you have a favourite thread you think is worthy of the title "Thread of the year 2003".

If you each post 1 - 5 thread titles here, I will set up a poll with the 10 most popular threads, and then we vote. See last years Thread of the year 2002

The closing date for nominations will be 8th of March, that will give you about 2 weeks to find the threads you want to nominate, and post them. Good hunting!

Note: The thread you nominate, has to have been started in 2003!

    I think my favorite was:

    Spelling Does Count in Life

Very controversial - but it was a facinating debate.

I like the tuxedos one! It's really cute! I only joined in 2004, so I really can't nominate any though, since I haven't read any of the old thread!

Perhaps I'm biased, but I think this thread showed one of PT's greatest moments. I still get teared up when I read it

A very good choice of threads so far.

Freckles, you made a little mistake - the third link goes to Lily's journey, instead of Eduardo's diary ...

Don't be embaressed to choose a thread you started yourself, after all, it's the development of the thread that makes it special.

I guess I could be biased too.

Every day that goes by I'm thankful that ya'll helped me keep my cool when Kia was ill. And for all the generous donations.

But I must say my vote goes to Naomi and Bassett. It was awesome that we were able to work together to get that tortie the surgery she needed.

I agree with one already mentioned. "Who is able to help Naomi (Nomilyn)".

    Will be thinking of more.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

I think I will be biased, I will pick "A cat name Grover", but I will come back with more.

I know one of my favorites was the one Tonya started about being a cone breeder. It was fun, and hilarious. I don't remember the name of it, I think it may have been some about, " I have a confession to make" and then she show all these cones. Tonya really has posted some interesting theads, but this one just sticks out in my mind!

If you see any weird spelled words, I am reduced to using a small laptop, and my eyesight is not too good. So I don't catch my typing mistakes. Forgive me???

    I'll be back! Willie

Thank You, kittycats_delight for my new siggy!!!

Great choices...I really liked Bassett and Kia's threads, showing how PT comes truely become a community that helps each other out.

My personal favorite though was the rescue of our Spotty boy...not just for what it started out as, but for the wonferful addition to our family he has become.

So far, 12 threads have been nominated, but there's still time. If you can, please give me the exact titles of the threads you want to nominate. Do a search for them, or ask the member who started the thread!

Since more than 10 threads have been nominated, I'll pick the ones with the most nominations and put in a poll.

Barbara, the Gabe thread was started in 2002 and can't go in.

For now, I'll be nominating Looks like I'm a foster mom started by Tubby & Peanuts mom.

dukedogsmom! Yes, I see that a similar thread was started in December 2003, but it was split up for the different Forums and didn't get far - so I'll go on with this. Hope it's OK with you Ramanth.
