    Am I just very un-observant?

I just noticed underneath the birthday list at the bottom of Pet Talk that there is a category for events and when you click on it there are three categories: (Single all day event, ranged event and recurring events.) Today there is a birthday noted for a PTer's pet. Is this an appropriate place for us to make note of our pet's birthdays? It appears that it is, but I can't believe I am just noticing it now.

I think there is a private calendar as well as a public calendar, and I presume that our pets' birthdays go on the private one. I put Tia's on once and then realised I'd put it on the public one by mistake

Exactly right - you can list events like a Gathering, or even a pet's birthday, anything you want everyone to know about!

It's been there all along, just isn't used very much.
