I was coming out my building today with Gracie on the way to Ivy's house to feed him and give him his insulin . I was going to leave Gracie at Tom's while I was at work since the citronella no bark collar wasn't working right and I ddin't want her to bark and the neighbors complain. And i saw this baby bunny in the grass. It was so tiny I almost missed him. Gracie didn't even see it. They had just cut grss at our condos and i was afraid maybe he had gotten hurt since it wasn't moving. So I put Gracie in my van with the ac on and went and picked it up to make sure it was ok. There were no cuts or anything so I called my vet to see what to do. It was about 3 inches long, so tiny but I knew it was probably big enough to be on its own but I was afraid it would get eaten by the neighbor cats or dogs. The nurse said iIcould bring it in but from the way it sounded it was big enough to be out. So all they would do is release it back. So I decided to put it back in the area it was use to so it's mom could find it. I first put it over by the fence where I have seen others bigger babies bunnies before, but it didn't want to hop away and when i nudged it it hopped to a corner where it was out in the open. So I decided to put it in some big bushes by the wal so hopefully it will be safe. I hope that it will be ok and live to be an adult bunny. I will feel so guilty if something gets it.
