How cats have you had at the most at one time?

How cats have you had at the most at one time?I have had 9. two parent cats, 6 kittens, and a 3 mmonth old kitten. I think that was in 1997. But I think we may reach that number again, as we are expecting some new members in the feline family soon. (hint Hint) Right now at the minute is just Cloey and midnight. Well how many have you had?

Pretty tame here - 4 cats at one time.

    1. Sammy, the cat who came with the house me and my ex-fiancee bought. The people who we bought the house from had transferred to Oregon. They just left him there. He stayed with my ex when we split.

    2. Boo Boo, my much loved black cat who went to the Rainbow Bridge in 1996.

    3. Max, a cat I was looking after for my sister. Boo hated her, I had to set her up with food and litterbox in a spare bedroom. She later got hit by a car. Poor Max.

    4. Bo, I still have him today.

I have 3 cats now, my city has laws about how many animals can be kept at a residential home without a kennel license.

I have one real cat that makes up for four ....

But I have a grand total of 40 or so cat statues. So 44 I guess ... *laughs*

Right now its 4. Neko was the first, he was a gift to me for brian's and my first anniversary. Cookie came a year later- she was a feral cat that brian caught. Pumpkin came a year after that- I wanted an orange kitty so we picked her up from the shelter and Tama a year later came to us from one of my clients at work. She knew I loved Abyssinian's and couldn't keep him anymore cause her son was severely allergic to him.

    I love my furkid Neko!

For a short time last year I had 16. Seven of my own, one solo foster kitten in one room, two teenage kittens running around, a mom and 5 kittens upstairs. That's when I made my limits about fostering and *gasp* actually stuck to them pretty well this year!

    Do guest cats count?

I have four cats in the house at the moment. Two are mine, Snowy and Mr. Jones and we have my Mom's two visiting. Punkin and Pepper.

That's the most I've ever had around.

    I've learned a couple things.

    1) Snowy is the Alpha.

    2) Snowy DOES leave Mr. Jones alone more if he's got others to play with.

    3) Mr. Jones doesn't give a rat's....

    4) Snowy LOVES to be chased. He runs through the house 'gurgling'

    IT"S ALL SO FUN!

I remember my mom telling me that when she was a kid and lived on a farm she remembered counting 21 cats she had when she went to feed them. Boy was she lucky.

Well I only have 2, but we have three cats in the house because my roommate has a cat too. So I guess 3 is the most cats I've ever lived with.

The most cats I've had at one time is 11. I only have 9 now since two of my tabby babies ran away. I have 2 tuxedo boys, 1 black boy, 1 tortie girl, 1 gray tabby girl, 1 bengal female and 3 siamese cross 2 girls 1 boy. I love having this much cats!

Does this mean there will be more cats in your near future when your guests leave (HINT HINT)
