Dearest Morsel, what an adorable young lady you are! You are so pretty with that solid brown tabby fur and the sweet face with the long, LOOOOONG white whiskers and the lovely big green eyes. Thank you for sharing those terrific photos with us. Your dear Purrrson is an excellent photographer! You are gorgeous in them all, and in that last one of you on your back, are you looking for a tummy rub? I wish I could reach through the screen and over to Menlo Park, CA to rub it (only if you want it rubbed, of course) and pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your dear Purrrsons will rub it (only if you want it rubbed, of course) and pet you for me .
And what a delightful, inspiring Purrrsonality you have! You grew up in a shelter and then came to your family two years ago. You get more lovable every day! You love bird-watching and napping and having a treat. You are very snuggly and malleable, and you wake up each day knowing it will be better than the last. Your positive attitude is contagious, reminding your dear Purrrsons to give thanks for life, because life is for living. You and they all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Morsel, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
