    Storing Pics for Display

I just wanted some opinions on places to store images so they can place them directly in a post.

I noticed that alot of people use Sony's ImageStation. I was just wondering if there were other places that someone may like better.

Thanks in advance for the information.

I use ImageStation.....not so much because I like it, but mostly because I don't know what else to use. Don't get me wrong, ImageStation is great. It's very easy to use and provides a lot of space for image storage. However, I find that it lessens the quality of the picture. If anyone has any other ideas, I would like to know as well.

I don't like Imagestation... it's so slow, but I use it sometimes. I also use shutterfly.com, but I notice that sometimes when I upload pics, it enlarges them, and makes them blurry.

There are very few places out there that allow the "cross posting" like Imagestation does. I know there are one or two others that people have mentioned but I don't remember which ones in particular. I use imagestation because we get away with the "cross posting," not necessarily because I like it. It usually seems really slow, but I guess that's to be expected when so many pictures are being processed all the time. If you find another place that allows this, please let us know because we always like to keep a few on the back burner in case Imagestation cuts us off.

If you sign up with angelfire, you can upload your pictures and rename them to blahblah.txt or blahblah.png They will show up at the original size and quality. The only downside is that you can only upload a certain amount.

Hey CatDad, I love your signature and avatar, they really look great!
I use imagestation too. I don't about any others, I have put some the Kodak site, though I have no idea if it works here or not. The only thing I noticed about imagestation is it going down sometimes, and popcorn says that happens every now and then.

I use ImageStation too. With cable it's not too slow, using the drag and drop feature. It holds tons of pics. For the animations I use http://stranglethecat.com/, you just have to bookmark the ones you upload and save them in a seperate folder so you know where they are when you want to use them. It won't let you upload them twice.

I pay $9 a month for boomspeed.com. It's great! Allows tons of space and is never down(not that I know of) and is fast. I love it!!

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.

I don't like stranglethecat.com anymore cause it has the little address at the bottom when you load the image.
