    Kitties by the fireside!

Hubby and I got a firescreen for Christmas, so we enjoyed a nice fire last night! The kitties enjoyed it too! Here are a couple of pics!

You call it a fire, we call it "kitty TV!" It moves ... it flickers ... and it's warm - what could be better!?!

Oh! Oh! Too adorable!! I love that picture with the two striped tails hanging side by side - lucky kitties to have a warm fire to sit by. Your kitties are all beautiful!
The legend says that Mohammed adored cats. When one of them was sleeping on his sleeve and he had to go out, Mohammed supposedly cut off the sleeve so as not to disturb his pet.

I liked the pic where three of the kitties are staring intently at the fireplace, and the fourth kitty is looking the other direction, totally oblivious to the action.

Very cute - thanks for sharing.

    my cat...

    is driving me crazy.......

he cries to go to my mom's house so he can sleep by the fireplace.

when there is a fire he will not come home until he is ready, which probably means NEVER-should i pick him up he gets very irritated and nips at my hands

no fire? he walks up to the screen and cries (my mom calls him Lucifer because he loves that fire!) when i open the screen he
moves up to sit beside me while i make the fire. after it gets going he sits there like the sphinx, watching, until he drops off to sleep.

if i have to leave he does not even bother to follow me to the door...he looks and goes back to sleep....should i be jealous?
or should i take him for an exorcism?????

it's getting to the point where i have to make a fire every night......
