    Micah got Soft Paws!

Of all five, he needed them to most. He likes to scratch the floor! I'm not sure why, he used the cat tree, but prefers the floor. That, and with his claws, he could scale a metal building!!

Anyway, he was really good. I'll post some pictures soon. Our home DSL isn't working, but it will on Monday.

    BTW, he got blue!

Sometimes cats need both horizontal and vertical scratching surfaces. Maybe you could get another scratching post (something rougher than carpet, maybe sisal) and lay it flat on the floor and that may also help the problem with scratching the floor. Anyway, just in case you hadn't tried that already.

Many thanks to Roxyluvsme13 & k9krazee for my great new siggy!!

I was telling some people about softpaws the other day - and I got the strangest looks - until I said - "hey - its way better than declawing" - and then they thought it was pretty cool.

Its amazing how uneducated people really are. I was at the vet with Micah and I had just sat down to wait for him to be done with his manicure. There was a lady with her cat there that said, "Oh, is he declawed??" I said, "No, they are nail caps, and alternative to declawing." She said, "Oh, like what Chester (vet cat) has on??" I told her yes. How strange...why did she think I asked for "BLUE please"???? Wierdo....

Micah has no idea they were on. Last night he went to climb up the side of the couch and he fell! Doh!
