    The 1st unofficial Dog-Olympics?

I'd like to introduce you all to the 2006 Dog-olympics. The Cat-Olympics have been a running organization from years past and The Muttlies asked why there was no Dog-olympics. They have taken it upon themselves to create such games

Get your mutts and purebreds ready for the following events -

    Tail Whipping
    Tennis Ball Retrieving
    Frisbee Flying
    Drool Flinging (BON?)
    Dirt Digging (KATIE, TORI?)
    Wrinkle Making
    Synchronized Peeing
    Synchronized Sleeping
    Roaching
    After-Bath-Galloping
    Putting-up-with-felines Mental Tests
    Chow Gobbling
    Mud Wrestling
    Tongue Stretching
    Howling
Stick Stealing (NEBO, WHERE ARE YOU???)
    Snow Thrashing
Stuffie Tugging (Please make sure no stuffies are harmed whilst training for this event.)

And many more...If you have an event to add, please do!
Please share your dogs in training with us.....

Here are some of the events my three are entering:

    Tail Whipping:
Nala has trained for this event in hopes something would come up, for years...

    Tennis ball retrieving:
Kiara practices for this event religiously...

    Frisbee Flying:
Another event Kiara hold near and dear...

    Dirt Digging:
Nala trains and cheers Simba on..

    Wrinkle Making:
Nala's had this down pat since we met her. If you look closely, she is also training for the Roacing event.

    Tongue Stretching:
Simba has been watching videos of KISS for this event.

There are many more they are interested in competeing in.

Molli would love After-bath-galloping. Her favorite I think. Both Molli and Sam are gonna do stuffie tugging and snow thrashing. Sam will do tennis ball retreiving, chow gobbling, and synchronized peeing.

This is a great idea. Why, they are training right now!

LOL..oh my! I'm laughing so hard! Good idea, Kay..lol

I can't believe you are encouraging Katie and Tori to enter the dirt digging competition! I have been trying to so hard to deter them away from that sport and now you want me to encourage them and try to get a picture of it! GEESH!

Ohhh the tounge stretching! Hmmm, Tori may be a good candidate for that one also

Drool Flinging..hahaha...yea, I bet Bon can win that one hands down! He also might give Nala a run for the money in the tail whipping event

This is fantastic! Gotta see what girls feel like entering

All these awesome pictures are taking my breath away! This is definitely the best thread since Frito Feet! I don't think I've seen such beautiful dogs and cats in my life! It'd be great to publish a PT book with all these "action" pictures! I just love them all. Will try working on K-lo's competition tomorrow. Chances may be slim after she sees the camera.

Raven wants to enter the digging contest:

Does breaking trail count as Snow Thrashing?

Founder can howl with the best of 'em!

Chase is quite a talker too.

Pingo wants to enter the chow hounding--how many dogs eat standing on their heads??

Hobo is all over the tongue stretching competitions....

A little synchronized sleeping, with a feline tolerance thrown in for extra points!

Sleet and Antare doing some joint napping.

Paxil and Onyx worked very hard on their inter-species synchro napping techniques.

    here crayola joins too!

*barks - good job everyone - ya'all are doing grrrreat!*

sorry crayola (& I the photographer) have been so busy running around but here are some of him trying out for dog-olypmics! he also is sorry he doesn't have another furdoggie to 'synchronize' with.

my stick stealer! (he usually is not but for olympics, he makes the best out of it!)

for feline mentality part... (crayola mentioned we're doing good with cats! people out there need more examples of how dogs and cats can get along!)

*oh gosh... just for the olympics, just for olypmics*..

ratty mentality - he passed an event without rattling out!

    or one too many?!

..and golden retriever retrieving for a gold!

we probably (if good enough) will be back with some else more, hopefully, if we both could keep up!
rest and sleep softly sweet locke..
