Jan, it's 8 days today, so I'm still within the 10 days. The confirmation I got says it is effective starting 1/14/05, which is 10 days after the adoption day of 1/4/05. I guess they figure if anything happens within those 10 days, it's the shelter's responsibility. I didn't have a chance to read anymore just then, but I'll be looking more into it as I get time. It may not cover the bills I've already gotten, but it should cover the tooth extraction because that will definitely happen after the activation date of 1/14/05. Thanks again for the thought and reminder.

    WOW!! {{{{{{Great news Debbie}}}}}}.

I'm Happy Dancing like a maniac here - just sooooo relieved that it's 'only' (ouch!!) an infected tooth - poor lad xxxxx Tell him I've had an abscessed tooth and once the anti biotics get to work he'll be feeling much better - and once the tooths out - bingo!! He'll be fine.

Uhhh, just saw this thread. Started reading and when I realized it has 5 pages, I just went to the end to see the last update. I was SO worried. Now, I can go back and read the whole story.

Deb, I'm glad it's only a tooth problem.
