Anna, take all the time you need, I'm sure not a single person here can blame you if you don't feel like posting and visiting for awhile. This is a pain only time can take the edge off of, though never completely erase. My thoughts and prayers are with you. This loss has touched us all.

I've been gone from Pet Talk for a long time now but I just heard about your sweet Angus and I need to come back to let you know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. Angus, you will be forever missed. You have been such a big part of Pet Talk and to lose you truly saddens me. Please have fun at the Rainbow Bridge, and if you can please say hi to my dearest Pooka for me. We will all miss you boy!!!

Oh my gosh.

I just saw this right now, and im at a loss of word's. I cannot believe that he's has passed.

But, he's running free at the rainbow bridge, and he's happier there, and he's not in any pain.

Anna, Im so sorry, and i know that's not even enough to make you feel the least bit better.

Just know we are here for you and we love you.

I was going to reply to this thread sooner, but I didn't know what to say. I still don't.

When I first discovered PT, as a lurker, Angus was the first dog I 'met' and fell in love with. I loved seeing pictures of his sweet face and hearing stories about what he and his sisters were getting upto. He seemed like such a laid back, loving guy, even my Mom (who is terrified of Rotties after being attacked by one as a kid) said how handsome he was!

When I heard Angus was gone, I couldn't stop crying. It feels like I've lost one of my own babies. But I'm so honoured to have had the chance to 'meet' him and get to know him. His personality was such that it carried across the thousands of miles between computer screens, I really feel I knew him, and seeing his pictures and hearing his stories was like being there with him. Pet Talk won't be the same without Angus, and no-one here will ever forget him.

Anna - I'm so sorry for your loss. Try to remember all the good times you had with this beautiful boy. He is now running, pain free, at the Rainbow Bridge, with his sister Keisha. I'm sure he's watching over you, Mark and the girls. Take as much time away from PT as you need, we understand.

RIP Angus, we love you.

Oh Anna, I was very surprised to see your post.

We all definatly understand your absense, and will miss your posts, but I understand that your not ready.

I also know what you mean about PT not being the same, it already feels as if its not the same to me.

Also your not without him, you'll never be without him! He'll always be with you, and us! And like I told you--you, Mark and the girls have a very special guardian angel watching over you!

The only thing that helps make this a little easier, is time.

I can't even imagine how you feel, as I am having a bit of trouble viewing Pet Talk the same--I feel as though I have lost one of my own.

As tears are running down my face, and am very, very, sorry. to hear about your sweet sweet Angus boy. He was a fantastic doggy. He loved you and Mark. You will miss him very much. Bassett liked dogs, so maybe she and Angus can become good buddies.
