Dear pugglet Cassie will be in all ourprayers. I met TWO puggies this weekend at a Petco, one a just-adopted-that-day 6-year-old pudge named Moose, and a wigglier-still yearling named Louie! such funny little guys they are. Sweet Cassie, I hope you are comfortable, at least. Sending you thoughts of wiggly happily pugglies your way ... (snort!)

I sure hope your sweet little doggie is doing better. Our furbabies are sending their best wishes to you. I don't really know your doggie that well, but she must be special...she has the same name as me, lol! I hope Cassie gets better soon.

Well I must say that Cassie's vet is a dear, dear man. He took Cassie all day yesterday and he is so interested in her case that he split the cost with my mom. She has been paying so much money to try to fix Cassie and he paid 80% of the bill out of the goodness of his heart. He told her that he spent 20 minutes massaging her and he told my mom what a special dog Cassie is. He told her that he can see what a delight she is and he asked my mom to have some more hope for the little darling. He told her that he feels really confindent that he can get her comfortable and happy once again. Now we are placing her in the bathroom with a vaporizer twice a day. After the vaporizer treatment, she gets massage. She is on a different antibiotic and she seems to be doing OK. She's coughing less, and throwing up less, but she has not regained her appetite back yet. She is down to 14 pounds from 16 in a few days. Her ribs are just starting to show. We're now waiting on the new antibiotics and the vaporizer/massage treatments.

Thank you SO much for caring, everyone! It means so much to me, my mom, and the darling little pigalett pugalett Cassie. I'll keep you updated on any new news...hopefully next time it will be better.
