Johanna & BINX are coming for sure!

Although Mr Binx may be on Restricted Romp & Play ~
Seems he managed to Strain / Sprain a paw or leg.
He's been to the White Coat and is on medication; which seems to be working. Johanna reported that the Binx was tearing up the house this morning - running around and *bouncing* off the furniture.
"Light Activity"?? Binx must not have been lissnin when the Vet said that!

Leslie said a long time ago she was bringing Grahan & Kersey to the next Bark Park Meeting - but she hasn't confirmed that on this thread.
Hey LESLIE!! We all hope you're bringing the FurKids this weekend!!

Who else haven't we heard from??

**Road CONSTRUCTION DETOURS** for Labor Day Weekend ~

    First: Reference materials for
*Finding* the Dawg'z BarkPark in Hancock Parks - Findlay, Ohio
GO BACK to Page 3 OF THIS THREAD to learn how to get a MapQuest map of the Findlay Dog Park area...
MapQuest info - Page 3 of THIS THREAD

    Interstate 75 DETOURS ~
Exit #157 / Ohio Route 12 EXIT is CLOSED
    for Southbound I-75 Traffic!!

This will effect Karen & Paul, MoosMom, all the Michigan Gang ~
Anyone who uses I-75 Southbound to Findlay!

    1) Exit I-75 at Exit # 161 / "Highway 99"

    2) Turn Left heading EAST onto Highway 99

    3) Cross over (straight thru) North Main Street
    4) Cross over set of Railroad Tracks
    5) Highway 99 bends right - follow it
    6) then Highway 99 turns off sharply to the Left - DON'T turn with 99...

    7) Continue STRAIGHT onto "Highway 212"
    8) Follow 212 (Cross Highway 18; pass Bright Road)

    9) 212 changes from 4-lane to 2-lane...

    10) Follow 212 to STOP sign at Highway 236
    11) TURN RIGHT onto Highway 236 (you're going south, now)

    12) STAY ON 236 going south...

You'll pass through 2 stop lights, 1 at Sate Route 12 and 1 at US Route 224. At the 224 intersection there will be a Walmart on your right (just a point of reference).

Continue south on 236 until you come to a STOP sign.
At this point 236 T's into the side of State Route 568.

    13) Turn LEFT onto OH-568 follow OH-568 to the east...
    .. you're in the "country" now ..
.. go about 1.5 miles and *Watch* for two
.."Hancock Parks/RiverBend Park" signs on the right

    14) Turn RIGHT onto MARION TOWNSHIP HIGHWAY 241.

    15) cross a "rickity old bridge" to the Stop sign.

    16) Turn LEFT onto TOWNSHIP HIGHWAY 208.

    17) Enter the RiverBend Park...
... Drive past a Ranger Station on your left
... The road turns 90 degrees right

    18) Slow Down - turn Right into the Bark Park & "The Lodge" parking lot,
... just after that bend in the road.

"Our" Pavilion #7 is the First One on the right inside the parking lot.

    SPECIAL NOTE:
There is some "confusion" on "terms" used by MapQuest ...
They confuse "County Road and County Highway"
with TOWNSHIP Road and Highway"... !
    It doesn't matter!!
The Important thing is The NUMBER (99, 212, 236, etc)
NONE of the NUMBERS are used twice (Thanks, God!!)

When you look at MapQuest - "County" and "Township" road numbers BOTH appear in lil Square Boxes...
No matter what *I* called it - if the Number on the sign matches with the turn directions above - You're on the right road!
    "ONLY in Ohio!"

    ANYONE...
Who wants a turn-by-turn MapQuest routing from their home ~
PM "Cinder & Smoke" with your request.
We'll need a "Starting Location" (Town Name, Zip Code, and the cross streets of a major intersection near your home).
Best way to deliver it is to your E-Mail (NOT a PM).

**Drive SAFE** Lotta Traffic out there this weekend!!

.. northbound I-75 CAN Exit and drive east into town!

    2) Turn RIGHT heading EAST onto Findlay on Ohio 12
    3) Turn RIGHT (south) at the Traffic Light at "Main St"

Phred, I check every time I am on. It's just that I don't need to know how to get there. The only think I have to remember to route Amy away from all the horses.

But you sure do a good job on getting every one there! Thanks for your continual updated information. By the way, it is suppose to be sunny on Sunday but only a high of about 75 which sounds pretty good to me. But don't forget the bug spray everyone. The mosquitoes and sweat bees are quite bad in the shade and when the sun is hiding!!! The stuff with a higher percentage of Deet works the best. At least 7% if you prefer not to go home with all kinds of little welts.

You're amazing Phred!! Wunder Phred!! I think maybe 2 bags and 2 bottles might be good and then if it's too much then we can save it until next time! I'm glad that 12 is open, that will shorten it by at least a few minutes.

Hey Freckles....was that aimed at me about the cameras????

We need to get more batteries and clear the card, but, that's Mike's job.
