    Thank you Phred. Some of our newer, younger members cannot appreciate the depth of feeling that occurred when Tonya lost Sophie. She was a huge loss for all of us and she had brought us so much joy and mischief.

    Rest in Peace Sweet Princess Sophie!!

    Thanks, Ash, Gini, Phred.

    *blush* here come the waterworks...

    I've been missing her sooo badly lately--does this friggin' "knife thru the heart" ever stop?

    Sometimes it seems forever ago that I touched her and other times it seems not so long. I can't help but wonder if this is all some sort of bad dream and I'll wake from it any minute... but it's not or else Piper and K'Cee wouldn't be here.

    I just want her back! And that's so selfish, she might be in pain again... (and because I wouldn't have K'cee or my Pippiesqueak...)

    *blushes thru tears* you guys must think of me as a blubbering fool...

    Oh Tonya - don't cry sweetheart - I'm at it here as well! You're NOT a fool just a caring lady and I'd rather have you like this than any other way. Sit quiet and listen....................................can you hear parsley being munched? She's such a happy bun at Rainbow Bridge, getting all them dogs and cats running round looking for her favourite food! xxxx

    O Tonya. We would never think anything bad about you! Miz Sophie was so dear to all of our hearts and I don't think anyone here on pet talk who was here while she was with you will forget her.

    I'm sure our Princess of Parsley has become Queen of the Rainbow Bridge. All the other pets probably cater to her every whim.

    When does the hurt stop? Well, my Mom died 39 years ago this month. I'm still waiting. It does get easier to live with though. Every day brings me closer to the time I will see her and my Dad and all my passed animals again.
    Luke, Leonardo, and Chester send BIG HUGS to you too.

    oh Tonya...
    We would never think that way. I never thought I would find a place with people that would understand why I cry over the loss of a pet..... and we all do here. It is always so hard to let them go.... but time will help heal your wounds. Blubber all you want to here..... {{{{Tonya}}}}

    *smiles* You're right, Lynne. She's probably running amuck (wonder where she got that from *polishes halo*) but I bet they're not running in search of food. That darn Miz Sophie is probably chasing them (as she was known to do w/ Sara and Tinker)! lol

    {{Thanks guys.}} Ya know, out of all the animals I've lost I think her passing has been the worst on me. I thought I was finished with the grief stages and then *wham* they hit me again. I wonder if it's because of the holiday (I keep remember last year's "Hug Your Bunny Day" -- where Soph and I were "boy cotton" V-day.)

    It helps having another bun, albeit she doesn't cuddle like Soph did. But Piper's Piper. She's young, not spayed (oh boy are we countin' down till spay day!! It won't come soon enough!!), and sadly, I'm wondering if she wasn't abused in her previous home. She shies from human touch -- doesn't even like nose/ear/neck skritches. She plays--binkies like crazy--and she's curious about humans but she flinches when you touch her. It's going to take quite awhile to establish a bond. (altho I did get my first Piper-bunny kiss the other day!) But I'm glad she's here -- couldn't ask for a more unique little girl! Just wish I could have my Sophie too...

    Thanks for listening to me ramble. You guys are the best!

    I tried to attach a movie clip but no matter how much I edit the sucker, it's still too big... I'll see if I can upload it to imagestation...
