I have my dogs, bun and beans ready to make the trip on Sunday!
    I can't wait!
I'm starting to get sick though... I have a horrible cough and my chest feels like someone's sitting on it! Ugh... I feel like poop.
Looks like there is no need to do the sunshine dance... so I'm doing the make me feel better fast dance.

Pat... I still have the directions you wrote for me the last time (when I made the infamous trip through, around and back through Norwalk on my way to the park ) I found them above my sunvisor the other day!

Carl & I were out running errands and stopped by the dog park to see how things were. There are no puddles of water - everything seems pretty dry. We really wanted to check out the smell factor. Some areas that are still drying out smell pretty bad. But there didn't seem to be any odors worry about. It was already gettng dark so we didn't stay long but with all the water we've had and the closeness to the river, I would suggest bug spray as a precaution.

The little bridge to the dogpark area looks a little worse for wear but quite usable.

Looking forward to Sunday! See you then!

Nice to know we won't need a ferry boat to commute between the Dawg Park and the Pavilion.

Doing good here so far! Got some good sleep last night, and took some medicine today. Actaully went out and played 18 holes of golf! As long as I haven't passed it on to Ralph, shouldn't be any issues!

It was a beautiful day and we all had a great time. Good friends, great food, dogs, sun - what more could you ask for? Well, I guess Icould have done without the pain pills as they make me feel a little weird but.....

Here are a few of my pictures - which I found I had not taken as many as I thought I had after I got home - before I lay down to rest.

Roxey hanging out in the shade

Robin giving Shadow a big hug
