** Miz TamaraLyn doesn't know it yet, but she's been "commissioned" to
build the whole Penguin Fire Department, Yukon Station ...
    * Fire 'Guin with Axe (above)
    * Fire 'Guin with Hose
    * Fire 'Guin carrying Ladder
    * CHIEF Fire 'Guin walkin the Mascot - a *Spotted* Husky
    * Fire TRUCK to ride in

More suggestions for The Firefighter Penguin series will be gladly accepted.

I also told her she NEEDS to develop a way to *engrave* these critters
with a very distinctive Artist's *MARK* to indicate they're a Glacier Original.
    Laser Etching, anyone?

Fire Penguin chef - hat and chef's apron w spoon in wing?
Fire Penguin with "cup of coffee"
Fire Penguin with hat tilted down to cover the fact that he's sleepin'

After all, most of life The Firestation involves waiting around, feeding the troops, and truck cleaning and maintenance ....

    So Fire Penguin with broom
Fire Penguin with BIG wrench - big trucks get big wrenches*

*I know because Dad once had a firetruck home in our driveway to do repairs - and one of those wrenches was hoooooj!

Our "Personalized Penguin" arrived yesterday! Meet Jack's new Penguin buddy!

I had asked Tamara to make one wearing a hat like his A. Penguin, and since then, Penguin has crossed over to the RB stuffie-land. This little guy is the perfect way to remember him . I think those Memorial beads are awesome, you'll be getting LOTS of orders for those, Tamara. I will definitely be getting some made, too.

Wouldn't you need a dalmation to go along with the fire brigade?

The colored base matches their eyes or fur ...

If you are interested in a memorial bead (can be made into a pendant or other jewellery)
for your pet, just send me a pm for more information.
I guarantee your pet's cremains will be treated with the utmost of respect.

OK ~ You've got the Girls all fixed up with the Beads ... now how about a Memorial idea
for us GUYs? Some of us don't (OK - WON'T) wear a girlie beaded necklace or earrings!
How about a "Sun Catcher" to hang in a window; or a desk-sized silhouette of a cat or dog?

Desk sized is far bigger than I can work--wrong kind of glass and torch. The memorial beads could be turned into suncatchers pretty easily...or put on a keychain/zipper pull if you wanted to carry it with you. For the, ummmm, trendier type males, the beads could be strung on a simple leather cord and worn as a bracelet or choker necklace. They could probably be worked into those hemp knotted necklaces too, but I don't do knots!

Those memorial beads are something very special. I'll contact you soon to have one made for me. I think it would be perfect to hang down from the bracelet I wear of Duke's old collar. Do you make hearts? Right now I just have a silver one on it.

The ends have been modified with a clasp.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Yes, I make hearts and could do one with ashes. That collar is a great memorial idea!

I just saw this thread as I don't often venture into the marketplace. I favorited your shop, I'm angrymare. I'm eventually going to sell hand knitted accessories but I don't have a credit card, or any money to spare of I'd love a pair of your earrings. Maybe this summer when I have more opportunities to work and make money.
