    I did some reading on Crohns last night and I have a new respect for what you must go through.

    Get well soon!

    Just got off the phone with Kelly and she was doing her Small Bowel. She seems to be in good spirits but is ready to come home. She is still enjoying all the emails everyone sends.

    I am so sorry I have missed this until now. I've really been swamped with a lot going on in my life, and haven't been keeping up with the board much at all lately. Kelly, you're in my thoughts and prayers. I sure hope you get to come home soon, I know how much better mentally you will feel then, and feeling better mentally can go a long way to helping you feel better physically too. I'm thinking of you {{hugs}}

    Yay Kelly! I'm so glad that you were able to get on the internet for a little bit and post. I agree that God works in mysterious ways...your "roommate" sounds wonderful and I think going to a support group for Crohn's is a GREAT idea! It really helps to have someone know exactly what you're dealing with on a daily basis.

    I hope your small bowel series goes well and I hope you can go home tomorrow! You must miss your furbies so much!

    **hugs**

    Karen....thanks for all the updates. I'm going to try and call her as soon as I get into work. With any luck, she'll be packing to leave.

    Edit: 10:30PST - Just spoke with Kelly and she doesn't know if she's going home because her doctor has not arrived yet. She'll keep us posted. She sounds good but says she's still in alot of pain and will be on oral meds when she gets out.

    Let's keep those prayers coming.

    Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

    Thank you again, for your warm wishes and prayers.

    Today has been hard. I'm still in pain, but because of insurance issues, I have to leave tomorrow. I can't understand insurance...why is it that the people who need it have to basically have surgery to stay in the hospital to heal?

    OH well, I don't want to dwell on it right now.

    I'll be home tomorrow and hope I can finally get back to healing and to the positive things in my life.

    I'll post when I get home.

    Hugs,
    Kelly

    Oh Kelly, hon, it's so good to see you posting. Have a restful night and think of all those purrbabies that will greet you on your arrival tomorrow. I know you will be resting up when you get home, but please just post a line or two, to let us know you are OK.

    {{{hugs}}} right back atcha
