    Amy I'm so sorry Toby is ill again. I was so hoping when he was perking up that he'd get to go home soon.

    I know how you are feeling.

    Kia seizured after a PH6 injection and I had to watch her deteroriate at the vet hospital. She looked so tired and in pain. She had a blood transfusion and lots of fluids and meds, and slowly she recovered.

    I wish only the best for you and Toby. *HUGS*

    He's having surgery in 1 hour.

    Why does it feel like we're up against a brick wall? Every time I think he's getting better he just gets worse.

    He was doing better, that's the thing. And then his BP shot up again and we're back to square one

    They're going to remove the infected part of his intestine, then keep him on fluids and pain meds. He may need a blood transfusion. They can't do anything else, he just has to fight off the infection. But the way it's looking at the moment, he may not even wake up from the anasthetic.

    I miss my dog

    Oh no, I was hoping for some more good news. More prayers coming out for Toby. This must be so frustrating and stressful for you. {{HUGS}}
    Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

    I hope he can fight off the infection successfully. I know how heartbreaking it must be. We'll keep praying for him. Maybe removing the infected intestine will help. Please Toby, get well!

    I did the right thing by setting you free
    But the pain is very deep.
    If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

    I hear you whimper in your sleep
    I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
    It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.
