Thanks Amy! I went back and checked them all out. Like I said you really did get some great shots. I passed your photo link on to Brandon so he could see the Mark Martin pics.

Mark had a good qualifying run for Vegas yesterday....#3, and Carl is outside Pole (#2). But alas, it is Joe Gibb's Racing on the Pole! Who-hoo!!! (Dang it Kyle, it kills me to cheer for you!)

If you can't beat them, put a bumper into them.

    OR

How did you get that MARK on your bumper?

Some hard hits. Poor Tony! But Denny is back ont he lead lap. Come on Denny and Kyle!

I did forget, there is a secnd * to the ABH rule....it doesn't apply to Nationwide series, since those cars run out of Junior's garage. Good run Mark!

I never get tired of seeing CE do the flip.

    ------------

    Another thing about the COT.

I have never seen so many cars get sideways and be saved. The oversteer the drivers do is remarkable-but that has the possibility of turning a pretty save into a bad crash.

    JG dodged a bullet.

I should upload the flip that I recorded from Nashville.

YaY for 4th in points! Way to go Kasey! He hung in there like a trooper even though he was sick with the flu. Love the new Allstate commercial with the dancing dream.

I'm okay with Carl winning occasionally...but this is getting old already!!

On the other side, another tough day for cupcake and twikie (aka Johnson and Gordon!) Gotta litke that. And Denny got back in the Top 10 with a 9th. Not too bad! Tough points day for Tony though.

Oh lordy, I do Can't stand Creepy Carl

Although, since Robin likes him I have to TRY to be happy...lol!

Hmmm...He won, but is it a Tarnished Victory?

I think I'd much rather "Twinkie" (that's Gordon right? LOL!) won and not had such a terrible wreck.

I think I'll hold off till Tuesday to make that scrapbook page

    Tarnished???

    No ... maybe a bit *smudged* ...

    Sez NASCAR >>>
NASCAR spokesman Ramsey Poston said Edwards' car did not fail post-race inspection.
But inspectors did find something amiss.
"We had an issue in post-race inspection with the 99. The lid on the oil reservoir encasement, or the oil tank box, was off," Poston said. "So we're going to take the 99 back to the [NASCAR] Research and Development Center in Concord, N.C., and if there are any actions that need to be taken, those will be taken and announced next week."

    Lemmie get this straight ...
The 99 Car didn't "FAIL" the inspection ...
It just didn't exactly "PASS" it so good ...

This is starting to get old ...
Used to be there were two Inspection outcomes --- Ya PASSED it or ya FAILED it.

    New there's THREE outcomes??
    * Ya Pass
    * Ya Fail ..
    * Ya "almost passed" / sorta failed a lil bit / had an *ISSUE* ...

    GOOD GRIEF!
Did he "ALMOST Win" or "ALMOST" Loose??

Tuesday they'll fine him for taking an UN-Earned BackFlip!

I bristle at the thought that NASCAR isn't on the up and up.

You have a sport that was started by men outrunning the law with illegal booze in the car, They let Dave Marcus drive around with leather wingtip shoes on until he retired, Let guys named FATBACK and HUMPY participate,
Let a cigarette company sponor the sport and worse yet, let a beer company sponsor the junior circuit for a while. Drivin' an drinkin'!

Did I mention Enzyte and Viagra as car sponsors?

I'm not a Robby Gordon fan, but I am very glad that the points penalty was overturned. I think that was a fair decision.

What's happened to the appeals process? It's actually worked in favor of teams this week. Wonder if the 99 team is going to attempt to press their luck next.

I'm not crazy about 'Recking Robby on the track, but from everything I've read, it is a good guy off the track. And he has done amazing as single car team, so it would be a shame to see him loose so much for a clerical error.

But it is interesting that Nascar, gave back the points and lifted the suspension, but at the same time increased the fine for the crew chief. Almost like they are saying we aren't wrong, but will do something to help you out...a penalty you can better weather. Not sure I like that precident.

As for Carl. Man, I hate that that happened, cause now I am going to have to lower my opinin of Rousch. Be careful or you'll be up there with the Hendrick cheaters!!!
