    The southern United States is well populated withcur-type dogs that are used by local hunters and sportsman. They are used throughout the southern area of the USA. It was a *this breed* who played the role of Old Yeller, in the famous Disney movie Old Yeller.

    Nope, if you watch the movie, you'll see the boy talk about how it matters if the inside of a dog's mouth is black. Also, the dog had a curled tail.
